Help save the world with your computer

Do you want to help find a cure for AIDS and stop malaria? Do you want to help scientists understand global warming? Do you want to help astronomers explore the stars and find new alien civilizations?

You can participate in these projects and more, just by downloading a special piece of software called BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing).

http://boinc.berkeley.edu

BOINC will run on a reasonably fast computer, some hard disk space and excess computer time. [Note that some projects may require up to 1GB of RAM to run smoothly.]

While you are chatting with friends, typing emails or going for lunch, your computer will be contributing to many important scientific advances.

Let us all take action and install BOINC today.
